Notes Tab
The Notes tab is a private annotation layer on top of the candidate’s interview. Use it to capture your real-time reactions, flag moments worth revisiting, or leave context for colleagues reviewing the same submission.Adding a Note
While watching the video, pause at any point and type your observation in the notes input field. When you submit, the note is automatically timestamped to the exact moment in the video where you paused. This creates a linked annotation: anyone who reads the note later can jump directly to that moment in the recording. For example: if a candidate gives a particularly strong answer at the 1:42 mark of Question 1, you can pause there and write “Strong answer on conflict resolution. Exactly what we need for this role.” That note stays anchored to 1:42.[ SCREENSHOT ] Notes tab showing an existing note from a reviewer with a timestamp, the note text visible, and the Edit and Delete icons on the right side of the note.

Searching Notes
If you have left multiple notes across several questions, use the search bar at the top of the Notes tab to find a specific annotation. Search by keyword, and Bridge Labs filters your notes in real time. This is especially useful when reviewing a candidate days later or when sharing a profile with someone who wants to find specific feedback quickly.[ SCREENSHOT ] Notes tab with a search term typed in the search bar and the matching notes highlighted or filtered below.
Downloading Notes
Click Download Notes to export all your annotations for this candidate as a file. Use this to:- Share structured feedback with a hiring manager or client who does not have access to the Bridge Labs dashboard.
- Keep a record of your evaluation for compliance or audit purposes.
- Consolidate notes when comparing multiple candidates side by side outside the platform.

Transcript Tab
The Transcript tab gives you a full text version of everything the candidate said across all their video responses. Bridge Labs automatically generates this transcript after the interview is submitted.Reading the Transcript
The transcript is displayed as a timestamped sequence of lines. Each line shows the time in the video where that text was spoken. A tip at the top of the tab reads: “click any line to jump to that timestamp.” This makes it easy to scan a long interview quickly, read ahead to the parts most relevant to your evaluation criteria, or check specific phrasing without re-watching the full video.[ SCREENSHOT ] Transcript tab showing the Transcript heading with the Download Transcript button, the keyword search bar below it, the click-to-jump tip text, and two timestamped transcript lines with the speaker label.
Clicking to Jump in the Video
Every line in the transcript is clickable. Click any line and the video player jumps to that exact timestamp. This is useful when you want to verify something you read in the transcript, review the candidate’s delivery alongside their words, or pull up a specific answer without scrubbing through the video manually.[ GIF ] Clicking a line in the transcript and watching the video player jump to that exact timestamp and begin playing from that point.
Searching the Transcript
Use the search bar in the Transcript tab to search by keyword across everything the candidate said. This is useful when you are screening for specific terminology, technical language, or phrases relevant to the role. If a candidate mentioned a particular tool, methodology, or experience, you can find it instantly.[ GIF ] Typing a keyword into the transcript search bar and watching the matching lines highlight or filter in real time.
Downloading the Transcript
Click Download Transcript to export the full timestamped text as a file. Common uses:- Sending a full record to a client or hiring manager.
- Running the transcript through an external scoring rubric or evaluation tool.
- Keeping documentation when the role requires a record of the screening process.
For Coaches and Career Programs
Notes and Transcripts are just as powerful in a mock interview context as they are for hiring. If you are a coach reviewing a client’s practice session, use the Notes tab to leave specific, timestamped feedback tied to exact moments in their delivery. “At 0:48, you said ‘um’ three times in a row. Work on pausing here instead.” Your client can watch the replay and see exactly what you mean. The Transcript gives clients a written record of their own answers, which many find useful for self-review. They can read what they actually said versus what they intended to say, a powerful gap to close in interview preparation.[ GIF ] A coach leaving a timestamped note on a client’s practice session, then the client opening the shared review and seeing the note anchored to that moment in the video.
