Creating a Template
- Open the Question Library from your dashboard or from inside an interview’s question builder.
- Click Create Template or New Template.
- Give the template a clear, searchable name. Use the role, function, or use case: “Senior Software Engineer,” “Sales Development Rep Screening,” “Mock Interview: Behavioral Round.”
- Add your questions. For each question, set the question title, question text, Key Information tags, and Criteria Checks. See Using Bridge AI for guidance on writing effective inputs.
- Set the recording time limit per question if you want a specific duration.
- Click Save Template. It is now available in your library for any future interview.

Bulk applying a template to all candidates
If you have already created an interview and want to apply a different question template to all candidates in it at once, use Bulk Apply Template in Invite Settings:- Open the interview from your dashboard.
- Click Invite Settings in the top right of the Invite Candidates panel.
- Under Bulk Apply Template, select the template from the dropdown.
- Click Apply to All Candidates.

Managing Your Templates
From the Question Library, you can:- Edit a template to update questions, Key Information, or Criteria Checks. Changes apply to new uses of the template and do not retroactively change completed interviews.
- Duplicate a template to create a variation without overwriting the original. Useful when you need a slightly different version for a different seniority level or market.
- Delete a template you no longer use. This does not affect interviews already published with that template.
