AI Scoring is currently in Beta. The feature is fully functional and available to all Bridge Labs customers. We are actively refining the models based on real-world feedback. If you encounter unexpected results or have observations to share, contact support.
What the AI Evaluates
Bridge Labs AI analyzes each video response across dimensions that are directly relevant to real interview performance. Rather than relying on surface impressions, it measures what the person actually demonstrates when answering your questions:- Clarity: How clearly and precisely the person communicates their answer. Are ideas organized and easy to follow?
- Tone: The person’s professionalism, confidence, and composure throughout their response.
- Problem-solving: The quality of reasoning and structure applied when working through a question.
- Communication: Overall verbal fluency, response relevance, and the ability to articulate complex ideas concisely.
How AI Scoring Serves Both Use Cases
For Hiring Teams
Every candidate is scored against the exact same rubric with no variation based on who is reviewing or when the review takes place. Merit-based data replaces gut-feel judgment, giving your team undeniable evidence for every shortlisting decision and a defensible record if those decisions are ever questioned.
For Job Seekers
After completing a mock interview session, you receive a score breakdown for every answer you gave. Instead of vague impressions from a practice partner, you see exactly which dimensions of your response were strong and which need work, so your next attempt is more targeted and your improvement is measurable.
For Coaches and Programs
AI scoring gives coaches and career programs an objective starting point for every client or student conversation. Rather than relying on real-time impressions formed while running the session, you arrive at each coaching call with structured data already in hand and a clear agenda for the work ahead.
How Scores Are Generated
When someone submits their interview, Bridge Labs AI processes each video response against the configured rubric automatically. Scores are ready within minutes and appear immediately when you open the session in your dashboard.- Rubric configuration: When you create an interview or practice session, you select or define the competencies that matter. Bridge Labs maps these to its scoring framework.
- Response analysis: For each video response, the AI evaluates language, structure, delivery, and reasoning against the rubric criteria.
- Score generation: A weighted score is produced per dimension along with an overall score that summarizes performance across all questions.
- Summary creation: Alongside the scores, Bridge Labs generates a written summary that distils the key insights from the session into a concise, readable narrative.
