Writing interview questions from scratch takes time, especially when you need questions that probe the right skills, align with a specific role, and are worded clearly enough for candidates to answer on camera. Bridge AI Powered Question Generation removes that bottleneck. Give it a job description, a skill area, or a topic, and it generates a ready-to-use set of video or multiple choice interview questions in seconds.

Accessing AI Question Generation

From the sidebar, go to Questions Library. Click Create New Question and select Create With Bridge AI. This opens the Bridge AI Powered Question Generation panel.

Step 1: Choose a Generation Method

Bridge AI offers three generation methods. Select the one that best matches what you have available:

Job Description

Paste or upload a job description (PDF or TXT). Bridge AI reads the responsibilities, requirements, and skills listed and generates questions tailored to that specific role.

Specific Skills

Enter a list of skills you want to assess. Bridge AI generates questions designed to reveal whether a candidate has hands-on experience with each skill.

Topic

Enter any topic or subject area. Bridge AI generates questions exploring that topic from multiple angles. Useful for mock interviews, assessments, or courses where the focus is a knowledge domain rather than a job role.
Click the card for the method you want. The panel updates to show the relevant input fields for that method.

Step 2: Select a Domain

Choose the domain that best describes the industry, function, or subject area for this question set. The domain helps Bridge AI calibrate the depth, tone, and terminology of the questions it generates.

If you do not see a domain that fits exactly, choose the closest match. Bridge AI uses the domain as context, not a hard constraint, so the prompt you write in the next step will still shape the output.

Step 3: Write Your Prompt

The Prompt field is where you give Bridge AI the raw material it needs to generate relevant questions. For Job Description: Paste the full job description directly into the prompt field. Include responsibilities, requirements, and any skills or qualifications listed. The more detail you provide, the more targeted the questions will be. You can also upload a PDF or TXT file of the job description using the Choose File button instead of pasting the text. For Specific Skills: List the skills you want to assess. You can write them as a comma-separated list or as short descriptive phrases. Example: “React, Node.js, REST API design, system architecture.” For Topic: Describe the topic or subject area. Be as specific as you want. “Behavioral interview questions for mid-level customer success managers” will produce more focused output than just “customer success.”

Step 4: Choose Question Type

At the bottom of the panel, select the type of questions you want Bridge AI to generate:
  • Video: Candidates record a spoken response to each question on camera. Best for assessing communication, personality, and the depth of real-world experience.
  • Multiple Choice: Candidates select from preset answer options. Best for knowledge checks, compliance assessments, or situations where you need objective, scalable scoring.
You can generate video questions and multiple choice questions separately and combine them in the same interview.

Step 5: Generate

Click the submit arrow button. Bridge AI begins processing your inputs immediately.

Generation typically completes in a few seconds. When Bridge AI finishes, your generated questions appear in the panel for review.

Step 6: Review and Edit the Generated Questions

Bridge AI generates a set of questions based on your inputs. Review each one before adding it to your library or interview:
  • Edit the question text to adjust wording, tone, or specificity.
  • Add Key Information tags to each question to power the AI scoring analysis. See Using Bridge AI for guidance on writing effective tags.
  • Generate or write Criteria Checks for each question to define what a strong answer looks like.
  • Remove any questions that do not fit your interview or that duplicate what other questions already cover.
  • Regenerate if the set does not match what you need. Adjust your prompt or switch generation methods and try again.

Saving to Your Question Library

Once you are satisfied with a question, save it to your Question Library. Saved questions can be pulled into any interview without regenerating them each time. Build your library over time with AI-generated questions refined for your top roles and use cases.
For the best results with Job Description generation, paste the complete job posting rather than a summary. Include the “Qualifications” and “What You Will Do” sections. Bridge AI uses the full context to generate questions that go beyond surface-level and probe for the specific experience the role actually requires.

For Coaches and Schools

Bridge AI Question Generation is not limited to hiring contexts. Coaches can use the Topic method to generate practice interview questions for any role their client is targeting. Paste a job description from a specific company posting to create hyper-relevant practice questions for that exact interview. Schools and programs can use the Topic or Specific Skills method to generate assessment questions aligned with course learning objectives. A curriculum director can paste a course syllabus or skill list and get a set of interview-style questions that evaluate whether students can articulate what they have learned.
